History
Built at the behest of Giovanni de Ballis, a wealthy local merchant, the tower is distinguished by its elegance and grandeur. The well-preserved upper section features a trifora and a bifora set within semicircular arches, while its Ghibelline battlements lend it a striking appearance.

Beyond its architectural value, the Torre de Ballis is steeped in history. Over the centuries it has served various functions: a watchtower during the medieval period, a noble residence, and even a prison. Today, the tower stands as a symbol of the city.
